My first truly large-scale creation.
It is a representation of the Last Judgment. The being at the top of the composition is both the Almighty God and the creator of the painting. A parallel is drawn between God as creator and the artist.
The work reflects a strong sense of focus and mastery. We also encounter a representation of the realm of the dead and purgatory, expressed through corridors and a desolate universe.
